02Purpose of the website

This website presents the workshop, the services we provide and the ways to contact us. It is not an online shop: no contracts are concluded and no payments are made through it.

03Information, images and quotes

We try to keep the information on the website correct and up to date, but the service descriptions are general and indicative. Some images and animations are illustrative and may have been created or edited digitally; they do not represent a specific job or a guaranteed result.

Requests made by phone, email or WhatsApp do not in themselves constitute a contract. The price, timescale and conditions of each service are those set out in the quote or agreed directly with the workshop before the work begins, without prejudice to the legal guarantees that apply to parts and services.

04Intellectual property

The RKMotors name and logo, and the text, photographs, animations and design of this website, belong to RKMotors or are used with the permission of their owners. They may not be copied, reproduced or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission. Sharing links to the pages of the website is always allowed.

The car makes and models mentioned (for example Nissan, Toyota, Mitsubishi or Lexus) belong to their respective owners. They are mentioned for descriptive purposes only and do not imply any relationship with those manufacturers.

05Use of the website

You agree to use the website lawfully and not to try to access non-public areas, disrupt its operation or collect its content automatically for commercial purposes.

06Links to other websites

The website includes links to third-party services such as Instagram, WhatsApp, Google Maps or the Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico (Portugal’s electronic complaints book). These services have their own terms and privacy policies, for which we are not responsible.

07Availability and liability

We do our best to keep the website available and secure, but interruptions may occur for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage resulting from such interruptions or from the use of the information on the website outside the scope of a contracted service. This limitation does not exclude liability that the law does not allow to be excluded, nor does it affect consumer rights.

08Privacy

The processing of personal data and the use of cookies are described in our Privacy and Cookie Policy.

09Complaints and dispute resolution

You can file a complaint in the Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico (opens in a new tab) (Portugal’s official electronic complaints book) or contact us directly. In the event of a consumer dispute, you may turn to the alternative dispute resolution body CIMAAL – Centro de Informação, Mediação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo do Algarve (www.consumoalgarve.pt (opens in a new tab)). More information on the Portuguese Consumer Portal – www.consumidor.gov.pt (opens in a new tab).

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Without prejudice to alternative dispute resolution, the competent courts are those determined by law.

10Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the website, our services or the law change. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.

11Language versions

These terms are available in Portuguese, English, German and French. This English version is a translation provided for convenience; in the event of any discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails.
